A young Franco-Ukranian guitarist, Roman Rouzine played in various groups from symphonic metal to death metal
until 2007. At the age of 19, he attended “Tous en Scène”, a highly notorious center for “contemporary music” where he
followed intensive vocational training courses. He graduated with honors as laureate.
That same year Roman released his debut album EP, entitled “Utopia”. After several concerts he started working
on a new opus to be more mature, more personal and better-thought-out. So in 2010 he recorded “The Tragic Circle”
including 5 powerful tracks in an instrumental, progressive and neoclassical style incorporating different influences such as
Patrick Rondat, Adagio (Stephan Forté), Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven.... For “the Tragic Circle” Roman was
accompanied by bassist Karim Garcia Alvarez and drummer Quentin Regnault (Kronos), together with a notorious guest,
Franck Graziano – guitarist of Poppy Street, contributor to Guitar Part, author of methods for beginners and writer of
Christophe Godin and Patrick Rondat’s songbooks. Roman Rouzine has regularly promoted the EP on scene throughout
France, either solo or with his group “Roman Rouzine – The Tria”. Today Roman is working on his first album which will be
rich with melodies, technical and modern. Franck Graziano and Richard Chuat (Kronos, Guitare Live, “Tous en Scène”)
have already confirmed their featuring.
Roman is a teacher at “Tous en scène” (37) and “CMT’N/Musiques en fête” (37, France) and he is a contributor to
the well-known Guitar Part magazine where he takes part on the DVD in the section SHRED monthly.
Roman has also been endorsed by LABOGA, INTEXCables, Arobas Music—Guitar Pro 6, Skull Strings and is
actively looking for more collaborations.
